Turn On The Lights! | November 23 – 5:30 PM
Experience the magic as the town square gets ‘painted with lights’ for the first time this season! Enjoy a free horse-drawn wagon ride or cookies and cocoa with Santa.
‘Painting with Lights’ will turn on daily, featuring a musically synchronized light show from 4:45 PM until 11:00 PM from November 23, 2024, to January 5, 2025.
Merry Little Downtown Christmas | November 30 – 5:30 PM
There’s no better place to gather and celebrate the holidays than the center of the city.
Make your way to downtown Oskaloosa for holiday fun and festivities under the glow of Painting with Lights. Grab a photo with Mr. and Mrs. Claus and live reindeer, holiday treats, horse drawn wagon rides, and more.
Commotion: A Tribute to the Music of Creedence Clearwater Revival | December 6 – 7 PM
Join us in the George Daily Auditorium for a music filled Friday night. Commotion perfectly captures the iconic sound and electrifying live performances of CCR with stunning accuracy.

“Twinkling Christmas” Lighted Christmas Parade | December 7 – 7 PM
Lights, lights, and more lights in Downtown Oskaloosa.
The annual lighted Christmas parade is a one of a kind experience where floats are lit with over one million lights.

Window Decorating Contest
Drive around or take a stroll through downtown to awe the festive storefronts and window decorations created by local business owners.
Displays will be up throughout the holiday season.
