So, you’re stuck in Hill City? We’ve got to say, it’s not a bad place to be stuck. Though the summer heat may be gone, there’s still tons in store for your winter adventure in the Black Hills.

Take a Hike!

1880 Train Holiday Express
Running from November 26 through December 28, this magical train ride transforms the historic 1880 Train into a winter wonderland. Tickets range from $46 – $79 for adults and $29 – $56 for kids (2–12). Seats fill up fast, so book early! Options include:

Ice Fishing

Snowmobile Trails (December 15 – March 31)
Over 350 miles of groomed trails weave through the Black Hills, starting mid-December. You’ll find scenic routes, backwoods beauty, and plenty of snowy adventure.
