Join the celebration of pioneer living on Saturday, September 17th!
Food, music, pre-1930 crafts and games, historic harvesting demonstrations and more. Spend time with the Oskaloosa community and learn about the daily lives of those who came before us.
2. Autumn Acres
Location: 4 miles (9 minutes) from our EverSpring Inn.
Good ol’ family fun.
For a traditional fall experience, look no further than Autumn Acres — an all-encompassing fall family experience!
Hayrides, corn mazes, train rides, super slides, pumpkin painting and more. Fuel up at the concession stands and enjoy Gravity Box Basketball with the kids!
Admission is $8 for ages 3 and up. Autumn Acres is open on Friday from 12-6, all day Saturday, and closed on Sunday.
Location: 8 miles (14 minutes) from our EverSpring Inn.
This southern Iowa state park is the perfect outdoor fall experience. Big forests, lake views, and a variety of wildlife make Lake Keomah a can’t-miss stop on your trip.
Enjoy fall colors as the leaves turn to orange and brown on your hikes, or get out on the water and fish for bluegill and largemouth bass. Lake Keomah has dedicated fishing areas, along with swimming beaches and boat launches.
Spending a day at Lake Keomah? Enjoy their day lodging! With electrical hookups and modern showers, you’ll feel right at home.
The best part? Lake Keomah is just over 15 minutes away from EverSpring Inn.
